My “Personal” Top Ten Bible Verses…..

These are my top ten verses for understanding salvation:

  1. Abram put his faith in the LORD, who credited it to him as an act of righteousness. Gen. 15:6
  2. But Samuel said, “Does the LORD so delight in holocausts and sacrifices as in obedience to the command of the LORD? Obedience is better than sacrifice and submission than the fat of rams. I Sam. 15:22
  3. Do to no one what you yourself dislike. Tobit 4:15    
  4. Remember no more the sins of my youth; remember me only in the light of Your love.  Psalm 25:7
  5. The last word, when all is heard: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is mans all;  Eccl. 12:13
  6. If you forgive others their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you.  Matt. 6:14
  7. But whoever lives the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God. John 3:21
  8. They strengthened the spirits of the disciples and exhorted them to persevere in the faith, saying, “It is necessary for us to undergo many hardships to enter the kingdom of God.”  Acts 14:22
  9. Love does no evil to his neighbor; hence love is the fulfillment of the law.  Romans 14:10
  10. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.  Heb. 13:8
